Robert Kubica tests the Williams car at Catalunya!

Williams' car was driven today by Robert Kubice, who started testing at Catalunya near Barcelona. During the ride he made 9 laps, which unfortunately did not go too well because he was the slowest in the field. 

The star of Thursday tests 

Testing at the Catalunya track near Barcelona by the British team was completed with a two-day delay. Until yesterday, it was not known who would drive Williams' car as it was expected that it would be George Russell. What surprise and joy was the information that the tests will be performed by none other than Robert Kubica. Nine laps were completed during the ride which did not give Robert a good time as he was the slowest driver in the field.

Williams technical problems

The Williams car reached the track only yesterday around 4:00. Additionally, the media wrote about technical problems resulting from the lack of parts for the vehicle, as a result of which work at the Grove factory was significantly delayed. We wrote that the Williams team started testing with a two-day delay because the remaining 9 teams have been on the track since Monday. After all, everyone will meet soon World Championships. The tests will last all day today, the next tests will take place from February 26 to February 1 researches.

They don't waste any time

While team Williams began testing two days late, the remaining 9 teams were not idle. Actually, all drivers have been testing their driving hard since Monday because they managed to make several hundred laps of the track. The most active and both fastest drivers from Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc from Monaco. In total, the drivers covered 1500 km in the last days of the tests. 

The first race of the season is fast approaching as the Australian Grand Prix will be held in Melbourne on March 17th!
