Appeal of the new Minister of Health

I can promise you that I will not become the guardian of morality, says the new health minister of Norway. Sylvi Listhaug emphasized that each person is a separate individual and can decide for himself what is good and what is bad for him:

“I believe people have the right to smoke, drink and eat red meat if they want to. The authorities can of course inform, but I think people usually know very well what is healthy and what is not. Telling people what they should and shouldn't do is not a political task. " - interview for NRK.

The most important activities that the new Minister of Health will take are:

  • promotion of physical and mental health,
  • ensuring the correct declaration of services health care,

  • preventing the spread of diseases.
