Working conditions in Oslo. Today we would like to inform you about the new Fair Play Bygg Oslo project, initiated by Robert Steen from the Norwegian Labor Party (AP). Project goal: to improve safety and working conditions in Oslo - in the construction industry, but not only. The originator of this project wants the general approach to employment in Norway to change - the awareness of both employees and employers. Listen to the conversation for Radio Wataha.

Working conditions in Oslo - the aim of the project?

We work in Norway. We often do hard work on the construction site. Do we know our rights? Sometimes not. Can we fight for decent employment conditions? It happens differently. The goals of the Fair Play Bygg Oslo project are primarily:

  • strengthening employment security - an employee works better and more efficiently when he is sure that he will not lose his job in a moment.
  • creating work regulations - general and on every construction site,
  • awareness support employees regarding their rights at work,
  • compliance with health and safety regulations,
  • compliance with safety rules on the construction site - clothing and security,
  • improving the amount of remuneration in the industry - preventing delays in payments.
