Climate change is a fact. We have been writing about them for a long time, because unfortunately they also affect Norway. Tropical nights? Lack of water? Weather anomalies? Something that was unthinkable in this area is happening today. Being eco some time ago was associated with fashion, whim or whim, but nowadays it has become a necessity. Every day we use energy and water, we drive a car, we do shopping without thinking where it all comes from and that it may all be missing in a moment. 5 rules of ecological living will help us and the planet.

5 rules of green living - get started today!

The time has come for all of us to understand that how much depends on our daily behavior
we still have time on earth. Each of us is taking every day, sometimes
seemingly trivial decisions can contribute to saving the planet, and thus
to save the world for future generations.

5 rules of ecological living - the method of small steps ...

Is it necessary? big changes? Turns out not. A small change, a trifle, but repeated by many people, will really do a lot.

5 rules of ecological living:
1. Water saving:

  • Change the bathtub to a shower,
  • Turn off the water when brushing your teeth, shaving, and soaping afterwards
    shower,
  • Only start the washing machine and dishwasher when they are full Install batteries with a thermostat,
  •  Attach the aerator to the tap,
  •  Collect rainwater to water the garden,
  •  Use water without detergents, e.g. left over from rinsing vegetables and
fruit for cleaning or watering flowers.

2. Energy saving.

  •  Turn off the light
  • Invest in energy-saving bulbs (remember that the most energy
they need them in the beginning - only turn them on when you plan to stay in
    room for longer),
  • Replace electronic equipment with energy-saving,
  • Do not put hot food in the refrigerator,
  •  Cook covered,
  • Turn off the radio, TV and computer when you are not using them,
  • Turn off appliances in sleep mode - stand mode would use less energy than
the equipment is turned on, but it can generate huge losses per year.

3. Use reusable items.

  •  Take your own bag when shopping,
  •  For vegetables and fruits, use cloth mesh nets,
  • Use a reusable water bottle 4. Please buy carefully.
  •  Make a meal plan for the whole week and only buy what you need
  • If you bought too much food, you can e.g. freeze it,
  •  Buy locally - products imported from distant corners of the world make a difference
high consumption of water, energy, often additional packaging, and thus,
    contributes to environmental pollution.

5. Give "garbage" a second life.

  • You can use the jars for home preserves or keep them in
dry ingredients such as pasta, rice, nuts, or cereal in them
    various small items,
  •  Use old worn-out clothes as a cleaning cloth.

Let's say no to climate change!

5 rules of ecological living. It is worth talking to your loved ones. As you know, Scandinavia is already a step further when it comes to awareness of threats and ecological solutions. Talk to your relatives from Poland about them. Pass what's good for further ... Development unfortunately caused a huge degradation of the natural environment. Climate change has progressed at an alarming rate in recent years. This process has already embraced every corner of the world and it is worth starting to apply these 5 simple rules of ecological living every day. Remember, by implementing these rules, you not only take care of nature, but also the condition of your wallet. And the most important argument in favor of being a little Eco is Antoine Marie Roger de Saint-Exupéry's quote: "We do not inherit the land from our parents, we borrow it from our children." First of all, let's do something good for the Earth for them.
