. A Pole is a hero…

Since the terrorist attack on London Bridge, a lot has been said about the weapon used by a Pole to incapacitate the attacker. Initially, it was talked about the narwhal glue. It turned out, however, that the weapon with which the Pole overpowered the terrorist was a lance. The Pole, despite the successful incapacitation of the terrorist, suffered injuries himself. However, he has already left the hospital and his life is no longer in danger. Despite the successful incapacitation of the terrorist, two people were killed in the attack on London Bridge. They are 23-year-old Saskia Jones and 25-year-old Jack Merrit. They were both Cambridge students. Both the incapacitation of the terrorist, as well as the proper reaction of the witnesses of the event, prevented a greater number of victims. If it were not for this, police say more people could have been killed in the terrorist attack on London Bridge.

Who is the Pole who made a heroic deed? It is Łukasz Koczocik, who lives in London with his girlfriend. He works at one of London's restaurants on a daily basis. She leads a quiet life and is not a public figure. As he himself emphasizes, the reaction to the events taking place on the London Bridge was natural. He grabbed what he had at hand and decided to do something. The lance he used to incapacitate the terrorist proved to be an effective weapon.

– The Pole knew how to act...

Thanks to his first aid training, Łukasz Koczocik knew exactly what he wanted to do. He also knew how to help people who suffered during the terrorist attack on London Bridge, if necessary. This event will surely remain in the memory of the Pole for a long time.
