“Janek Kowalski (Piotr Adamczyk) leads a double life - he is the husband of Basia (Anna Dereszowska), with whom he lives in Warsaw, and he is the husband of Marysia (Weronika Książkiewicz), with whom he shares a beautiful house on the outskirts of the capital. Neither woman knows anything about the other's existence. However, Janek loves them equally much - one supports him and the other makes him feel like a man. One day, an unexpected accident happens to him. A panicked escape from the hospital, a group of bandits demanding a staggering amount of money and a policeman (Andrzej Grabowski) hot on his heels are nothing compared to what may happen to Janek's life if any of his loved ones find out about the double marriage. His old friend Staszek (Adam Woronowicz) comes to his aid. Together they set off on a journey that may not end well.
