“Norway has lost an innovative artist and writer. Family and friends have lost a family member and close friend. I send my warmest thoughts to everyone who has lost loved ones over the past year. The Government will take the initiative to find out why more young people are experiencing mental health problems. Thanks to this, we will be able to implement better-functioning aid programs and effective solutions. Norway's New Year's address - let's react to climate change ...

In her speech, the Prime Minister assured her concern about the consequences of climate change. At the same time, it reassured those who feared Norway's complete abandonment of the oil and gas industry.

“Emissions must be further and significantly reduced in the future. Achieving this goal will require great sacrifices from everyone. Even if the world achieves climate goals, oil and gas will still be needed. That's why we shouldn't eliminate an industry that employs thousands of workers and helps finance our prosperity." – emphasized the Prime Minister.

To sum up!

What will this year be like in practice? For us… for our families, friends, relatives? For the whole of Norway and the world? Hopefully good and calm!
