Stockholm: Salvador Dali's work was stolen

. Twelve valuable sculptures by Salvador Dali were stolen from the Couler gallery in Stockholm. The sculptures were made of bronze, and each of them is estimated at approximately PLN 12-200. crowns These sculptures were approximately 500 cm high and were loaned by the Couler Gallery for the needs of the exhibition lasting several days. Stockholm police classified the incident as a burglary. The perpetrators have not yet been caught.

The theft at the Couler Gallery could have been commissioned. However, this is only a hypothesis. Police also do not rule out that the thieves were not aware of how much the sculptures they stole might be worth. Currently, an inspection is carried out on the scene. The monitoring of cameras installed in the Gallery is checked. If the hypothesis that thieves are not aware of how the art trade market works is confirmed, they will be caught sooner or later. So far, however, no one has been arrested in connection with this case.

Burglary at the Couler Gallery

The theft of works of art from the Couler Gallery is currently the most high-profile topic in the Scandinavian media. How it happened and how the perpetrators acted has still not been established. It is worth noting, however, that when attempting to steal such valuable items, you are most likely dealing with the task of stealing it. However, it is not known who and why ordered the theft.

. Salvador Dali is one of the greatest surrealists. His paintings are known all over the world. He was the author of several hundred paintings, graphics and sculptures. The exhibition, in which the Couler Gallery lent the sculptures, was to end this Saturday. Due to the theft, it was automatically ended. We can only hope that the case will be solved quickly and the criminals will be caught. This is a priority when it comes to actions carried out by the Stockholm Police.
