Don't travel on public transport unless you have to. If you must travel, please follow the guidelines for public transport.

Check the timetable and remember a few things.

The Easter offer will be more or less the same as in previous years with some changes. Check timetables. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

    • Due to renovation works, the metro is closed between Majorstuen and Grønland and between Carl Bernes plass and Sinsen
    • Boats to the islands in the inner Oslofjord depart every half hour. Seating is limited for infection control purposes, and rangers help line up to the pier if needed.
    • On Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and on the 1st and 2nd days of Easter, there are Sunday timetables for all routes.
    • The boat that enters Drøbak has a limited capacity. There will be security guards at the pier to assist customers in adhering to infection control rules.

-Guidelines for public transport in Oslo and the surrounding area

All public transport guidelines apply seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including during Easter.

  • Do not travel unless you have to - bike or walk.
  • Avoid traveling when many people are taking the same road - be it to work or during their free time.
  • Maintain the recommended distance, both at the stop and in the transport.
  • Wear a face mask when you can't keep a distance of 1 meter. In some municipalities, a face mask must always be worn when traveling by public transport. Do not remove or discard the hood until you have stepped out of the vehicle and left an area with lots of people. Children under the age of high school are not advised to wear face masks.
  • Do not travel in collective transport if you are sick or suspect an infection.
