On Easter Sunday, Krzysztof Krawczyk fainted at home and ended up in one of the hospitals in Łódź. The singer's wife, Ewa Krawczyk, denied that the cause of death was the coronavirus. Krzysztof Krawczyk himself informed in the second half of March about the infection with Covid-19 and was hospitalized.

“I have to take up a fight, one more fight in my life! I don't know how it will be with my Ewa, who hasn't got a result yet, but she is in quarantine at home. I fall silent. Don't expect any news from me. And please do not harass my loved ones. I can only ask you for prayer! Even the Pfizer vaccination did not help. In my illness, I associate myself with everyone who has caught it, especially with my friend Andrzej Piaseczny. Sand, let us not give in to this plague! " - he said then.
