From Saturday, September 25, at 16 p.m., society has entered a re-opening phase where people can live a more normal life and start traveling again. For now, however, this means that there are only 00 approved border crossing points.

Police will continue to be present at the approved border crossing points (see link at the bottom of this article) and travelers must expect queues at the busiest crossing points.

The police will carry out the so-called border checks and carry out random sampling

- We are happy that society is opening up and that we can start living more normally again. But I want to emphasize that still only approved border crossings are open to normal traffic. The check will target travelers from areas with high infection pressure, says Chief of Staff at Police Directorate Lars Aune.

The government and ministry of health will gradually open more border crossings as municipalities establish local testing stations.
