Vedum promises tax cuts for commuters

Finance Minister Trygve Slagsvold Vedum (Sp) strengthens the commuter program with NOK 500 million.

- We are making a huge improvement in the deductions for commuters, says Vedum Børsen of Dagbladet.

In the revised state budget to be presented on Monday. Vedum has found room for an additional NOK 500 million to strengthen the commuter system. This is in addition to the $ 800 million that the Solberg government has proposed in its budget. In total, the program will be strengthened as it stands by NOK 1,3 billion.

Tax cuts for commuters

The previous government's proposal was to lower the deductible to 14 kronor, but only for people living in the 000 least central municipalities in the country. Vedum will extend the program to the entire country.
