Grzegorz "Gregor" Górczyński took part in the Norwegian edition of Lego Masters in autumn 2021. Our compatriot reached the final and won 3rd place.
The program was broadcast every Friday at 20 p.m. on TV2. Grzegorz and his partner gave their best to complete each task 100% or even 150%.
Grzegorz was paired with the Norwegian, Are. They met half a year before the program, then none of them knew that such a program was planned on Norwegian television. The men met at an auction of Lego bricks as two freeks who live close to each other and have common fascinations. The men only built 2 times together before the program, so they were concerned about their cooperation. Grzegorz is explosive as dynamite, while Are is stable and calm, but the men got together well and made it to the final.
Grzegorz started to compose Lego 33 years ago, and his aunt who bought him his first set infected him with the passion for these blocks.
A few words about the Lego Masters program
Grzegorz entered the program with a pump, he was himself and thus infected others with his positive energy. The Pole himself says that he lived this program, as well as Lego blocks. He is a child in an adult who can get out and enjoy it. When asked which stage of the program he had the greatest concerns, he said from the beginning that they would take it all or nothing. His partner, on the other hand, said that they couldn't talk like that because others were just as good.
In the first episode, they got a golden brick, which guarantees you to move to the next episode when you feel threatened, without any additional competition. Grzegorz pulled the block under the pressure of Are, because he was afraid that they would not be able to do it, but they managed and they did not have to use it. As Grzegorz said, they made the program dramatic.
In the final, they were given a task that lasted 25 hours, there were breaks for food and meeting the needs. The recording of the entire program took 8 weeks, and Grzegorz lost 16 kg during that time, so this program cost him a lot. However, he has no regrets.
Life after the program
Grzegorz believes that Norway offers opportunities and a lot can be achieved here. The program gave him great recognition and a lot of fans, especially young ones who are very sincere and give a lot of energy. He also received many offers of cooperation and contracts with large companies companies in Norway.
W Christmas special was broadcast an episode in which Grzegorz and Are took part as specialists. All episodes of the program can be watched on the TV2 application for free.
Grzegorz "Gregor" Górczyński plans to start his own company with events for children with Lego in 2022. AND Radio Wataha wants to help and support this project, and hopes for future cooperation.
