Two men were taken to hospital after a car accident on Hardangervidda

Operations Manager Knut Dahl-Mikkelsen tells Nettavisen that the car in which the two men found themselves landed 10-20 meters in the ravine of the river before they were found and rescued.

- They both reported the accident, but there were communication and language problems, so locating the car was a bit difficult, says Dahl-Mikkelsen.

When the accident happened, it was snowing and windy, and the temperature dropped to minus 11 degrees.

At 7.18, the police tweeted that two men who were in the car had been taken with the help of emergency service crews. They were conscious and taken by helicopter and ambulance to Voss Hospital.
