Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki accuses the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, of organizing the influx of migrants arriving at the Polish border.

- The attack that Lukashenko is carrying out comes from Moscow. The originator of this is President Putin, Morawiecki said on Tuesday during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly.

Several thousand migrants got stuck on the Polish-Belarusian border. The EU believes that the migrants were sent there by President Alexander Lukashenka in retaliation for EU sanctions against his regime.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko discussed the situation of migrants on the Polish border on Tuesday.

According to a statement by Moscow, the two leaders exchanged views on the situation. Several thousand migrants and refugees are in the border area on the Polish-Belarusian border.

Both presidents talked, inter alia, about "harsh treatment of peaceful people by the Polish side". According to a Belarusian statement, they are particularly concerned about the deployment of Polish armed forces along the border.

Belarus accuses Poland of deliberately escalating tensions between the two countries, and Poland believes that the security of the entire EU is at risk.

The Polish government warned that in the event of new attempts at border crossings, situations of "armed nature" could arise.

While several thousand migrants were stranded in no-man's land on the border, Belarus and Poland continued to press charges against each other on Tuesday.

Belarus claimed that Poland violated common security agreements when 10 soldiers were deployed at the border without warning.
