Vaccination against Covid-19 in the municipality of Stavanger takes place at the Forum Expo vaccination center in Tjensvoll. Vaccination with 3 residents over 65 years of age and severely immunocompromised residents is still ongoing. Sixty percent of this group has now received dose 60. These groups can make an appointment or just come to the immunization center.
Note that there must be at least five months between doses 2 and 3.
Healthcare professionals and private health actors
From Tuesday, December 7, all medical staff in contact with the patient/user can make an appointment for vaccination with dose 3 at the Expo Forum. This also applies to private healthcare providers who come into contact with the patient/user. Employees health service they can only make an appointment and not use the drop in function.
Age group 45-64 years
From Tuesday, December 14, the age group 45-64 can make an appointment for dose 3. This group can only make an appointment at the moment, but cannot come to the vaccination center. In weeks 49 and 50, Stavanger Municipality sends a text message to 45-64-year-olds with a link to order the immunization.
18-64 years at risk of serious illness
People aged 18 to 64 who are at risk of 4 in FHI risk groups, it is also proposed to book an appointment for dose 3 from December 14th. This group can only make an appointment but cannot come. The SMS is not sent to people from risk groups.
It is still possible to take Dose 1 and Dose 2
It is still possible to take both dose 1 and dose 2, you can make an appointment to come to the Forum Expo vaccination center in Tjensvoll.
The vaccination center is open from 08.30 to 15.00, Monday to Friday (entry closed after 14.30). Please note that it is closed between 11.30-12.00 am.
