Many of us probably use the ferry services on the Gdynia - Karlskorona route. What has happened recently certainly deserves attention.
Aid for refugees from Ukraine.
Jako Radio Wataha and Wataha integrasjon Forening in the person of Lukasz Pawlowicz and several other Norwegian institutions and privately in the person of Oleksandr Vygovskyy. From the first week of the war in Ukraine, we started transporting war refugees who were waiting for us in Poland. In total, 5 people came with us on 275 "Red Bus" trips to Norway. The vast majority were children and their mothers.
StenaLine Gdynia - Karlskorona.
Our route ran from Fredrikstad to Karlskorona, then by the StenaLine ferry to Gdynia and then initially to the Polish-Ukrainian border and several times we went to Magdalena in Starachowice.
The behavior of the StenaLine company in connection with our commitment deserves a huge thank you. Mrs. Zuzanna literally saved us, or rather our tired passengers, a lot of health. At night, the impossible became real thanks to Zuzanna and probably other StenaLine employees. All matters related to tickets, food, place for our bus on the ferry and check-in were dealt with at an express pace. In our situation it was very important due to the children who traveled with us.
StenaLine Thank you for your help !!!
This is certainly not the end of our campaign related to bringing Ukrainians to Norway. We would like to now as Radio Wataha and all institutions involved in this project would like to THANK StenaLine from Gdynia and all employees. THANK YOU
