Great fire in Svalbard

12 flats are affected, residents were evacuated after a violent fire in downtown Longyearbyen.

A fire broke out in an apartment complex in Svalbard.

- A total of 12 apartments are affected, informs the mayor's communications advisor, Terje Karlsen.

- It is said that no one is missing, but this has not yet been confirmed. There are also a few people evacuated from nearby buildings.

- There is currently one person receiving assistance on the spot for smoke injuries.

Police received a fire report on Monday at 03.31:XNUMX. Karlsen says all evacuees are cared for in an evacuation center at the Radisson Hotel.
