Reducing the amount of electrical waste and reducing the consumption of raw materials and CO2 emissions

The National Communications Authority (Nkom) is responsible for preparing the regulations in connection with the new regulations. It is also Nkom who will check whether the products sold meet the requirements.

— This will make a significant contribution to reducing the amount of electrical waste and reducing the consumption of raw materials and CO2 emissions. This is a good example of how benefits for both consumers and the environment can be created without compromising the benefits we get from products, says Nkom Division Director John-Eivind Velure.
