Lighting fires and barbecuing are fun both on a trip and in the garden. In Norway, everyone has to be careful and prevent a fire. This applies to everyone, anytime, anywhere.

In Norway it is total lighting of bonfires and barbecues is prohibited from April 15 to September 15, when lighting bonfires and barbecuing is prohibited in and near forests and other wastelands. Beaches are most often classified as wastelands, so they may be completely prohibited from lighting bonfires and barbecuing.
