The Oljedirektoratet 2022 resource report shows how important it is to maintain attractive land for both oil and gas if Norway is to maintain its role as a stable and long-term energy supplier to Europe.

It is therefore important to produce with low emissions and low cost. In order for us to be able to supply energy to Europe, we need attractive land. This applies to both oil, gas and offshore wind energy, says Offshore Norway chief economist Ellen Bakken.
