Forest fire in Sokndal commune in Rogaland - the fight continues

The situation has been stabilized at the moment - however, there is still a risk that the fire will spread to other areas. Firefighters have their finger on the pulse all the time. The biggest threat is the very strong wind that has been raging in the area for several days. Losses are large and can be even greater. The fire has spread to several houses and forest vegetation - the guards are afraid that the fire will get into buildings and roads. According to the worst-case scenarios, fires can devour the historic buildings in Sogndalstrand - it is a unique place - there we can observe wooden houses and warehouses built in the XNUMXth-XNUMXth centuries.
