This year we are building bridges between Poland, Ukraine and Norway and turning the festival arena into an art fortress. Love, friendship and war, joy, tears and great and small heroes from Poland and Ukraine on the cinema screen. International premiere of the latest Aga Zaryan Trio album - with American poetry by Sara Teasdale and suggestive photographs by Sissel Annett - in the atmospheric Cosmopolite Scene.

Great female voices and a wealth of traditional music that you can co-create during a concert and workshop in Fredrikstad. A journey into the fascinating world of dreams of Bruno Schulz, a Polish writer and cartoonist, inspiring filmmakers in Poland and abroad. The only such celebration of Polish art starts in Norway! POLSKE FILMDAGER in Fredrikstad and Oslo is a unique space for cultural meetings of Poles and Norwegians in a unique festival atmosphere!

Film and multimedia screenings, concerts, traditional and digital exhibitions, meetings with Polish and Norwegian artists and multicultural family workshops. POLSKE FILMDAGER runs from 9 to 16 October in Fredrikstad and 22 October in Oslo. FREE ADMISSION to all festival events in Fredrikstad!* There will be an opportunity to support people suffering from the war in Ukraine.
