Military exercises in Trondheim

From September 4 to September 10, the Norwegian Armed Forces conduct military exercises in parts of Trondheim and Melhus. This week, uniformed, armed soldiers will be seen on the streets, and blank shots will be fired.

Heimevernet will practice a crisis situation in a situation of increased threat in Trøndelag, and about a thousand people will take part in the exercise. Classes will also be held in Midtbyen.

Military vehicles will travel on public roads and you will also be able to meet at checkpoints. Smaller areas are cordoned off and coordinated with the police.

It should be emphasized that any military activity related to this is practice and such exercises take place in Norway regularly.

Military exercises in HV 01 Oslofjord district

Currently, approximately 1 officers and soldiers in the HV 15 Oslofjord district also take part in the annual training from September 2000 to 01.

The public must expect the movement of military vehicles and personnel and some noise.
