On Monday, October 2, 2023, the Norwegian Tax Office experienced instability in its IT systems. This means that it may have been difficult to log in to skatteetaten.no and submit your information to the agency.

On Tuesday morning, the Norwegian Tax Office's IT systems were working normally again, after an error that was only reported on Monday evening.

Among other things, the error caused problems with logging in to skatteetaten.no and affected some services when visiting the Tax Office. Some other public services were also affected.

The tax authorities apologize for the inconvenience caused by the error and are working to find the cause.
