Accident on the E18 Road and Consequences for Drivers

On Monday morning, there was an accident on the E18 road towards Oslo, where a car went off the road and hit a barrier. The incident occurred at 05:56. Oslo police said the road surface was smooth and slippery, causing slow traffic.

No Injury but Loss of Driving License

Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle, a woman in her thirties, did not suffer any injuries. However, according to operations manager Line Skott, her driving license was revoked due to having summer tires on her car, which is dangerous in the current conditions.

Yellow Meteorological Warning and Bad Road Conditions

A yellow warning has been issued in eastern Norway due to heavy snow. The Norwegian Road Administration has warned of difficult road conditions, which requires extra caution when driving.

Police appeal to drivers

Police in Oslo asked drivers to leave their cars at home and finding other means of transport if possible. If you need to use a car, the police urge you to drive carefully in the morning.
