Music full of passion and unique sound

Kinga Głyk, not only a talent, but also the winner of the Corypheus of Polish Music 2021, brings us musical experiences that cannot be forgotten. Born in 1997 in Rydułtowy, into a musical family, Kinga was surrounded by sounds from an early age. Her father, Irek, a vibraphonist and respected session musician, and her mother, Ewa, a piano graduate from a music high school, were not only parents for her, but also an inspiration to discover her own passion for music.

Musical roots and an independent path

Although Kinga's father was a scholarship holder of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, he never encouraged her to follow the same path. Thanks to the individual support of her parents, Kinga was able to develop her talent without having to attend music schools. It was her hard work and family support that shaped her as a musician. She started playing the bass guitar at the age of 11, joining the Głyk PIK Trio band a year later, where she and her brother, Patryk, gained musical experience.

Bold steps towards your own career

Despite her young age, Kinga Głyk had the courage and determination to take on the challenges of recording her own material. Her album "Rejestracja", released in the year of her eighteenth birthday, brought her recognition both in Poland and abroad. Collaboration with musicians such as pianist Joachim Mencel, Jorgos Skolias and Natalia Niemen enabled her to create an extraordinary work that received very good reviews.
