– the latest research! In the past year, there has been a lot of talk about ecology. We also emphasized on our website and in Radio Wataha the need to draw the attention of politicians and scientists towards green economy or renewable energy sources. As it turns out, however, Norwegians want oil and gas extraction to continue to be an important economic pillar of the country. Moreover, Norwegians believe that investment in oil and gas should be increased. According to 49 percent of Norwegians, Norway should continue drilling for oil and gas. The youngest are most positive about the fact that Norway is still an oil country.

– Norway is an important player on the international arena…

In recent weeks, we wrote about the advantages of renewable energy sources in the text: Renewable energy sources as an opportunity for the world ... It cannot be denied that this is an important step for the world. On the other hand, we must not forget that the Norwegian oil economy is stagnant. Gas and oil companies are an important factor for the Norwegians themselves as well as for international cooperation. The oil industry is jobs. Many positions - both physical at oil rigs, mining and office. In addition, we must point out here that the oil industry provides jobs for Norwegians, but also for economic migrants, including Poles.

: “we must take care of Norway's position in the world…”

International contacts Norway with other countries are mainly based on crude oil. This is a strong bargaining chip for this country. By limiting extraction, Norway would have to look for a new way to strengthen its position on the world stage. What else do we need to mark? In addition, the implementation of new solutions always takes time, building trust in a given industry takes time. Almost half of Norwegians believe that there is no point in giving up and limiting something - in which Norway is undoubtedly a leader. And this situation will probably not change for a long time.
