In the trial series, after jumping on 130 meters, he was the best, and in the qualifying rounds (127,5 meters) he lost only to Junshiro Kobayashi. For comparison, Freitag scored 121 meters in training and 125 meters in qualifying.
After the two competitions so far, the Pole, our favorite, is in the lead with a total score of 563,1 points Kamil Stoch. German Richard Freitag qualified second with a total score of 551,3 points. Our compatriot Dawid Kubacki also defended third place with its 530,8 points. Japanese competitor Junshiro Kobayashi qualified fourth with 526,3 points.
Triumphs in the Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen resulted in a considerable advantage for Kamil Stoch, amounting to 11,8 points, over the German Richard Freitag.
We are not putting any pressure on Stoch, but keeping our fingers crossed for further results.
Apart from Stoch and Kubacki, we will also keep our fingers crossed for Stefan Hula, who also has a chance to fight for the top place in Innsbruck, and for the rest Polish players Maciej Kot, Piotr Żyła, Jakub Wolny and Tomasz Pilch.
According to meteorologists weather it will not be favorable when jumping. It is expected to rain during the competition. The wind is expected to be 1,5 m/s, with gusts up to 3 m/s. Recently, the forecasts have not always been accurate, so we have to wait until the competition starts to verify them. Start the first series was scheduled for one hour 14: 00.

The current leader scored 66 TCS podium second place in 2013 and stood on the third step of the podium in 2014. A year ago, Stoch, bruised after a fall in the trial series, took 4th place at Bergisel.
In turn, Richard Freitag in Innsbruck, won the 3rd competition of the 63rd edition. Four Hills Tournament in 2015. It was his only good performance on Bergisel. In 2012-2014 and 2016-2017, the best start of the current leader World Cup was 10th place. A year ago, Freitag did not find his way in the lottery competition and took only 28th place.
