Scandinavian Eurovision 2018 qualifiers are over!

Last Saturday, March 10, the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix qualifiers for Eurovision took place. The jury consisted of 50 experts from ten countries who assessed the candidates and their musical proposals for the competition. The viewers of the elimination also cast their votes.

The Norwegian qualifying round for the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest was won by Alexander Rybak with the song "That's How You Write a Song".

Sweden on Eurovision will be represented by Benjamin Ingrosso with the song “Dance You Off. He is a 20-year-old Swedish singer and songwriter of Italian origin. He defeated the other 11 hundred participants in the Swedish singing competition called Mellodifestivalen. Benjamin advanced to and placed in the finals on March 10 first place by getting the highest number points from jurors and viewers.

Benjamin Ingrosso represents Sweden at the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest!

Our Margaret, who also took part in the Swedish lectures, took 7th place with the song "In my Cabana". Even though she didn't win, the Polish artist can consider her performance to be really successful. Margaret herself is happy that she could perform in Sweden, and her song is in the top eight on Spotify in Sweden.
Poland during the May competition will be represented by Gromee and Lukas Meijer with the electronic song "Light Me Up".

The 63rd edition of Eurovision 2018 will take place in Lisbon, Portugal. The semi-finals of the competition are scheduled for May 8 and 10. The grand finale will take place on May 12. The entire event will take place at the Altice Arena.

We have to wait until May, and we keep our fingers crossed especially for the above mentioned artists who are going to Lisbon. Perhaps one of them will win this year's Eurovision, which we sincerely wish you!

And we wish our Margaret further successes and victory next year!
