Andrzej Duda presented a list of 15 questions in a referendum on the Constitution and the future of the political system. The President of the Republic of Poland announced that it would take place during last year's celebration of the Constitution on May 3. At that time, he emphasized the necessity of participation of the representatives of the nation in the ongoing debate on the shape of the state system. The referendum would be held on November 10th and 11th this year.

They will check that the Constitution is working
During the plenary session of the National Development Council, Andrzej Duda also emphasized the fact that the current Constitution is over 20 years old. Therefore, it is necessary to debate its shape and whether the provisions contained in this document function properly. However, this discussion cannot take place without the participation of the public.
The Great Professions of the Current Constitution
The President of the Republic of Poland also mentioned the "Great Profession". They refer to the fact that the Constitution did not protect society from raising the retirement age to 67, despite the protests of trade unions and the demand for a referendum signed by over 2,5 million citizens. The Basic Law in its current form does not protect the Polish nation against the withdrawal of the granted benefits. They are now treated as a national treasure that can be taken at any time.
