We can also call this dish taco soup. And as everyone knows, the Norwegians' favorite meal at the weekend is nothing more than a taco. It is a dish that everyone can eat with what and how they want. We decide ourselves what vegetables to add, what sauce, and maybe without sauce, and whether we eat it in a pancake or in a taco shell.
It is similar with our soup today. The products that I gave in the list at the bottom are just a suggestion. You can decide for yourself whether you want these vegetables and additives, or if you add something from yourself. It is also a good recipe for getting rid of leftovers in the refrigerator, or adding any leftovers from eating a taco.
Saturday soup. Recipe for 4 people:
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 spoons frying oil
- 400 grams minced meat
- 1 package spices for tacos
- 1l meat broth
- package chickpeas in a box
- 1/2 packaging canned corn
- package sliced tomatoes
- 1 spoon corn flour mixed with water
Start by heating up a pot of oil and fry the finely chopped onions, carrots and garlic. Fry until the vegetables are tender. Then add the meat and continue to fry, sprinkle everything with the taco seasoning.
Add the broth, chickpeas, corn and tomatoes to the fried vegetables and meat, and bring them to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook for about 15 minutes.
Mix a little cornstarch with a little water and add to the soup, stirring constantly. Bring to the boil again, then turn off the burner. Dinner is ready!
You can serve the soup with grated cheese and tortilla chips. ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
