Macedonia will change its name
The Prime Minister of Greece - Aleksis Cipras - announced the end of the dispute with Macedonia, and the subject was the name of the country. Athens insisted that it be a complex name with a geographic qualifier. For this reason, an agreement was concluded that requires the name to be changed to the Republic of North Macedonia. Thus, it will guarantee a distinction between this country and the historical region in the northern part of Greece.
Kim Dzon Un comments on the Singapore Summit
The KCNA agency made public the words spoken by Kim Jon Un after the meeting with Donald Trump in Singapore. The dictator says it is "urgent for North Korea and the US to stop each other's annoying and hostile military action." He also stressed that practical steps were needed from South Korea and the United States to continue the issues raised in Singapore. He also added that if Donald Trump takes real steps in the process of building trust with North Korea, the latter, for its part, may continue to take actions that show its goodwill. It is worth noting that this overtone of the Korean dictator's words is very general. All you have to do is hope that his intentions are sincere.

Another accident involving children
Ten children traveling as part of a school trip were involved in a serious-looking accident. A passenger car drove into the bus carrying students from Mikołajki, and as a result the bus drove into a ditch. Apart from both drivers who turned out to be sober after a breathalyzer test, two children are injured - including a student with a suspected serious spine injury. The girl was transported by helicopter to the hospital. The participants of the accident were helped by the soldiers of the 12th Mechanized Brigade, who accidentally performed military exercises at the scene. It was they who provided medical aid to the victims and notified the police and the ambulance service.
Polish politicians appeal to the European Union
Calls to defend the Polish rule of law were sent by Polish prime ministers, presidents and ministers such as Aleksander Kwaśniewski, Lech Wałęsa, Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, Leszek Miller, Radosław Sikorski and Bronisław Komorowski. Politicians are protesting against the law on the Supreme Court, which is to enter into force on July 3 and, as they write, finally abolish the principle of the separation of Polish power, thus ruining the democracy built and improved over the next decades. The letter is addressed to the European Commission and to the Council of the European Union, which appears as an instance committed to defending the rule of law. The PiS project envisages a number of changes that undermine the autonomy of the Polish judiciary and make it subordinate to the ruling party.

Six out of ten new Norwegians have a double passport
The rule in Norway is that you cannot own dual citizenship. However, as it turns out, nearly six out of ten new passports are issued to people who do not renounce their previous citizenship. This situation prevails mainly among Somalis and Eritreans. This also applies to people who come from Thailand, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. Current law provides for the possibility of retaining old citizenship in justified cases, including: when doing so may result in a risk of loss life as a result death penalty. It is worth emphasizing that the Norwegian government's position on dual citizenship has also recently changed. Work is underway to update the legal provisions to enable this.
The Labor Inspectorate and trade unions want to punish clients
The Norwegian agency Opinion has published a report which shows that only 9 out of 10 companies pay attention to whether their cleaning company legally employs its employees. The situation on this labor market is so serious that the following organizations have joined forces against such practices: Federation of Norwegian Entrepreneurs, Norwegian Trade Unions, National Labor Inspectorate and Virke. A solution is being considered that will make it possible to impose penalties on the clients of such cleaning companies for not informing the relevant authorities about the finding of illegal employment of workers. This solution is designed to help honest companies ensure a level playing field in the cleaning market.

Last Tuesday, the Polish national team defeated Lithuania 4-0 in the last friendly match before the World Cup. Thus, Robert Lewandowski equaled Włodzimierz Lubański's record. Currently, both of them have 33 goals in home matches of the Polish national team. This is not the only record of our striker. He is also the most effective player in the history of the national team with 55 goals, of which 36 goals were scored in matches for points - which is another of his achievements. We keep our fingers crossed that he will become the second Polish top scorer in the process World Cup!
"La Gazetta dello Sport" announces: Brazil is the favorite of the World Cup
The Italian "La Gazetta dello Sport" has published its ranking of contenders for the World Cup. According to their journalist, Brazil has the best chance. Traditionally, their toughest rivals are to be Germany and Spain. They placed Poland in 12th place, and the most important roles in the team are to be played by Robert Lewandowski, Piotr Zieliński and Arkadiusz Milik. Among the group opponents of our team, Colombia was ranked the highest, taking the 8th place in the ranking. Senegal came 17th and Japan 27th.
Polish representatives are on their way to the World Cup
The first training session of the Polish football team in Sochi will take place today at 19:00. A press conference by Adam Nawałka is also planned. The last matches with Chile (2: 2) and Lithuania (4: 0) showed that the Poles are in good shape and their exit from the group is very likely. The first match of this year's World Cup will be held on Tuesday, June 19.06, in Moscow, where we will fight Senegal. Next, on June 24, we will play a match against Colombia in Kazan, and two days later, the last match at this stage of the tournament will be against Japan. Let us remind you that the preparations for the World Cup did not go smoothly. Kamil Glik's injury was supposed to prevent him from participating in the World Cup, but the team doctors decided to change their mind due to the incredibly fast recovery. We are waiting impatiently for the first match of the Poles. Meanwhile, the first World Cup in Group A will take place tomorrow at 17:00, between Russia and Saudi Arabia.
