Environmentalists are alarming that air transport in its current shape emit many pollutants into the atmosphere, especially exhaust fumes. These effects are to be prevented by the full electrification of aircraft, and the Alpha Electro G2 machine is to be the beginning of this process.
Test flight
Today's flight is to be a demonstration flight only, and the Minister of Transport will be the only passenger. The plane will be piloted by the owner of the Avinor company - Dag Falk-Petersen. The purpose of the flight is to demonstrate the possibility of flying with fully electric machines. Currently, the Alpha Electro G2 can only transport two people, and the charging time is two hours. Work on the development of technology is ongoing, but it can already be clearly stated today - if the results are satisfactory, we will face a real revolution in the aviation industry.
