On the occasion of the first match of our national team against Senegal, Andrzej Duda organized a fan zone. The President of the Republic of Poland and his wife invited, inter alia, students of Primary School No. 3 with Bilingual and Sports Units and American students who are on an internship. Beata Szydło spent 105 thousand.
The fact that the fan zone organized by Andrzej Duda did not cost Polish taxpayers anything may be surprising. The more so because in 2016 Beata Szydło paid PLN 105 for a similar zone. It took place on the occasion of the Poland-Ukraine match during EURO 2016 in France.
See how Beata Szydło was cheering in 2016!
The president is more frugal in this respect
The Chancellery of the President organized its fan zone in the gardens of the Presidential Palace. They invited various guests, incl. American students on internships in Poland, as well as students of Primary School No. 2 in Warsaw. The Polish taxpayer may be pleased with the fact that no costs were incurred in connection with the organization. As announced by the press office of the Law Firm:
"The Chancellery of the President kindly informs that it does not bear any costs of organizing this event. Joint cheering took place in the gardens of the Presidential Palace, and the outdoor screen and chairs are the property of the Chancellery "
