Which team does your heart beat faster for? The Polish community in Norway is made up of Slavs, so theoretically Croatia is closer to us. Mainly in terms of culture and language. In turn, England is considered the cradle of football and, as English fans sing, "Football is going home!" Below is a brief description of each team.

Chorwacja

The team from Croatia started their struggles in this year's World Cup in group D, which did not have an unambiguous favorite. Argentina was as strong as ever, phenomenal Iceland and young and promising Nigeria. The Croatians went through the group stage without any major obstacles - they left their group with a complete set of 3 points and a great goal balance: 7 scored and only 1 conceded.

It wasn't that easy in the knockout phase. In the 1/8 finals they defeated Denmark, but only after a series of penalties. They had a similar problem with the quarter-finals, in which they faced the hosts of this year's World Cup - Russia, which they also eliminated only in the penalty shoot-out series.

England

A difficult task awaited the English, who started their struggle in group G. She had strong opponents in the form of Belgium and Tunisia. They also faced Panama, who made their debut at the World Cup and the players of this team wanted to achieve as much as possible. At this stage of the competition, the Sons of Albion team only succumbed to Belgium and left the group from second place

In the knockout phase in the 1/8 finals, she faced an ambitious team from Colombia. In regular time of the game, they drew 1-1 and the winner had to be selected from penalties, in which the English did better. In the quarter-finals they met Sweden, which they defeated 2: 0. However, the result did not reflect the course of the match - it was not easy at all.
