August is the last month that guarantees the continuity of 500+ benefits until the end of October. The delay in submitting the application will result in the payment of the benefit with a two-month delay, but if we do it in October, the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy guarantees the payment of the amount due to us. Unfortunately, people who submit their applications in the months following October will receive the benefit without compensation.

Thousands of Poles have already submitted online applications
Many Poles have already used the possibility of submitting the application in July. Last month alone, over 300 applications were submitted online.
Online submission of applications takes place in three ways, namely via:
- Electronic Services Platform (PUE) of the Social Insurance Institution,
- Emp@tia Information and Service Portal,
- electronic banking.

You will also submit the application in person
At the same time, Polish citizens also have the right to submit an application in person, in paper form. From August 1, it can be done in such institutions as city offices, commune offices, social welfare centers or in other units organized for this purpose by the authorities.

Changes are prepared
Perhaps soon the tedious filling out of forms and declarations will become just a bad memory. Minister Marek Zagórski informs about such an idea. He expressed the need to automate this type of administrative processes. The minister mentioned that there is a real chance of introducing changes already in the current calendar year.

Will it be 1000+?
Law and Justice, however, is considering a much more serious change in the 500+ project. Politicians complain about the increasing inflation, which means that the benefit is not sufficiently visible and a breakthrough for the situation of many Polish families. Therefore, PiS is considering introducing the 1000+ allowance. For now, these are not plans, but phantasmagories and potential assumptions of the party, which is certainly already preparing for the upcoming elections.
