Poles already have a history card in OMC Hairworld hairdressing. For many years they have clearly marked their presence at the World Cup. In 2017, several representatives of Poland from the Polish Hairdressing Association, whose president is Andrzej Matracki, took first places, including Joanna Jakóbek. Kamila Janecka-Skalska, a representative of the Norwegian Polish Diaspora, will also take part in the current edition of the event.

Kamila Janecka Skalska is a hairdresser with the full meaning of this word. He currently runs the Camilla.frisør hairdressing salon in Sandvika. She has been working in the profession since the age of 16, and at the age of 19 she took part in the competition for the "Laurent's Golden Comb" for the first time, in which she took second place.

OMC Hairworld Paris 2018 -Kamila Janecka-Skalska. The road to dreams
Since then, she dreamed of taking part in a hairdressing competition again. A year ago, she decided to try her hand at the HAIR MASTER CUP at the Hair Forum 2017 in Warsaw. During this competition, she took first place in artistic hairdressing. After this success, she received an offer to join the team Poland and thus became part of the team Senior Ladies Team, which includes two more representatives - the above-mentioned Joanna Jakóbek and Iwona Ostrowska. The team is prepared by coach Tindaro Orifici.
OMC Hairworld - what is it?
OMC Hairworld is a prestigious competition in which hairdressers from all over the world take part. The best specialists from all over the world compete there - including Poles living in Poland and abroad. The World Championship in OMC Hairworld hairdressing will take place on September 9-10 in Paris. The event is organized by OMC, which is the largest organization of hairdressers in the world. It has existed since 1946 and currently has over 2 million members from all over the world.

Each year, three representatives
Every year, each country that is in the OMC organization can put up its representatives. They take part in many competitions, incl. in artistic hairdressing and women's and men's haircut. This year there will also be a new "barber" competition. The contestants make haircuts on their starting heads so that everyone has equal chances.
