Around us, we can see images of beauty, which are often only seemingly nice and perfect, because reality is often different. Everyone wants to be healthy, fit, beautiful, and have a good job that does not absorb our time, but gives a lot of money.

Slaves of their own body

Recently, being a fit person is in vogue and so far there is no sign that anything will change in this direction. Many people believe that a healthy lifestyle reflects our social status. Health clubs are having a golden time because not going to the gym today is a shame. Everyone knows diet and proper exercise technique. Unfortunately, because of all this, we very often fall into a closed circle, because we want too much in too short a time.

No self-acceptance

Social media, which accompanies us almost all the time, feeds us with beautiful images of perfectly built, sculpted, fit bodies. Many people are aware that this is a creation, but the vast majority have complexes through such actions that increase the lack of self-acceptance. Fit body has become a determinant of our social status. Young people growing up in such an atmosphere build their awareness on the fact that if they cannot show the world a photo, a beautifully made breakfast or do not attend prestigious classes at the best gym in the city, their life and person are uninteresting.

Career and fashion for being fit

The wave of a healthy lifestyle has also brought a large number of people who have made or want to make a career on it. The Internet has its own rules, and as we know, it has great power to act. As we can see, when the trend of being fit emerged, many people saw it as a business and an opportunity to earn quite a lot of money. On many websites, we deal with people who call themselves sport influencers. They are actually people from the industry, but there are also people who gained popularity very quickly, not with their knowledge, but with their appearance.

Different point of view

Knowledge sells worse and worse. Today, it basically matters how someone looks on the Internet, whether they have a six pack, what they ate for breakfast, or did 3 or maybe 4 workouts this week. Some clothing and cosmetic brands have made attempts to combat the lack of self-acceptance and self-confidence among people. The well-known Dove company has been creating advertisements for years, which show that no matter how much we weigh, what we look like or what our skin color is, the most important thing is who we are.

What is it all going to?

Consider the question posed. The media is and probably will remain in our lives an indispensable element that will be difficult to get rid of. However, we should remember that what we see around us is our common material. We create our world and it depends on us how much it goes in the wrong direction.
