Rain in western Norway, dry in eastern

The coming days will bring plenty of rain in the west of Norway. The Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow level of warning for this part of the country. In turn, the inhabitants of the eastern border can breathe a sigh of relief - rain clouds will not pass through the mountains. Therefore, they will be able to enjoy the sun and the cloudless sky, but until a certain time.

Heavy rains in the west

Western Norway will be hit by heavy rain clouds. It will rain heavily for the next few days. The weather forecasters issued a yellow warning level due to the possibility of unusual consequences. They concern, inter alia, the risk of some roadsides slipping, which will result in the closure of those that will pose a threat to the safety of drivers. Wednesday will be the worst and it rains also on Thursday.

Rain in the east is possible

Wednesday in eastern Norway will be sunny and cloudless. However, according to Håvard Thorset, a meteorologist from the Institute, this state of affairs may change. It is possible that rain clouds will cross the mountains and bring rain to the eastern borders of the country. If this happens, there will be occasional rainfall, and there may be some clearing in some places. According to Håvard Thorset, they are westerners Norway will have much less pleasant weather.

Weather forecasters also predict changeable weather in the central and southern parts of the country. On Wednesday, some rain may fall in central Norway as well as in the south of Nordland and Finnmark and Tromso.
