This year's Football World Cup was not very successful for our country. The Volleyball World Championships are different - the Poles are going like a storm there. Yesterday they achieved their fourth victory in this tournament, beating Iran 3-0. The triumph is even more pleasant because yesterday's opponent is a really solid team.
Polish pack of wolves
Our volleyball players played the song "Wataha" performed by Tomasz Organek, Dawid Podsiadło and the rapper OSTR for yesterday's match. The choice turned out to be extremely successful - the Poles had a fighting attitude and basically from the very beginning of the match they "threw themselves at the throats" of the Iranians.
The first two sets without risk
Polish team She played the first two sets flawlessly. Perfect block, great moves and infallible attacks. As a result, our volleyball players won 25:21 and 25:20. This quiet victory, however, somewhat lulled the aspirations of the "pack". The third set started unfavorably for our players.

A moment of adrenaline
In the third set, Iran began to take the lead. They started it with an advantage of 6: 2. A moment later they caught up, but after successfully blocking the attacks of Artur Szalpuk and Michał Kubiak, they again increased their advantage to four points. The opponents kept the advantage, but at the end of the set the situation changed dramatically.
When the score was 22:20 for the Iranians, Jakub Kochanowski served. He played so hard and so effectively that the Poles' opponents did not score any points until the end of the match. The Polish victory was sealed by Michał Kubiak, who knocked the ball right past the helpless Mir Saeid Marouflakrani. Thus, the Polish player "rubbed the nose" of the Iranian, who a moment earlier had tried to provoke our captain. As Fabian Drzazga later said, “Marouf was not happy with his teammates. He preferred to look into Michał's beautiful eyes.
