Police have released the names of the Trondheim murder victims

Norwegian police have released the details of people who were murdered in downtown Trondheim. The victims turned out to be two young people: Reza Alizada (17) and Nasratullah Hasimi (19). The accused of committing this crime is a man who comes from the same background.

The circumstances of the murder

Reza and Nasratullah were murdered at Prinsens gate. Their deaths were not the fastest. Before they were shot, the torturers did a lot of damage. The motive of the crime has not yet been established. According to Camilla Trud Nereid for NRK, one of the victims contacted one of the municipal officials 30 minutes before the incident. She was in a good mood and showed no signs of being a victim of bullying.

They all came from Afghanistan

According to the police, except for two fatalities two more people were injured in the incident. This also included the defendant who was shot in the leg by police during the chase. The injured were transported to the hospital. Saint Olav, where they are currently staying. Both perpetrators and victims are of Afghan origin. What's more, the murderer had previously applied for asylum in Norway.

Students of two schools

One of the victims, the murderer, and the third injured person attended Heimdal School. The second fatal victim attended another facility - Melhus. On Tuesday, both schools operated, but differently than usual. As a result of a tragic event, the headmaster of the Heimdal school - Vegard Iversen - canceled the start of the school year. As he says himself, this tragedy affected everyone equally hard.

The perpetrator will be arrested as soon as possible

The perpetrator of the double murder is currently in hospital. He was shot in the leg by police officers during a chase. He is currently accused of premeditated murder, but the final charges will only be brought after an investigation. An autopsy of the victims is also necessary to ensure that they have died as a result of the violence. It is not known what about the fourth man - his involvement in this crime is unknown. This will also be clarified in the course of the proceedings.
