As Kristian Gislefoss from the Meteorological Institute admitted in an interview with Nettavisen, the coming days are expected to bring significantly higher temperatures. We are to feel the first signs of a more pleasant aura today. In the south of Norway, mercury bars are set to show 20 degrees Celsius. The warming is to be felt even more on the south coast of the country.

Kristian Gislefoss also pointed to the close link between warming and the impending tropical hurricane Helena. It is currently located on the Atlantic Ocean and is moving towards the British Isles. This phenomenon will bring with it both a lot of heat and a lot of moisture.
