What to replace sugar? Many people choose a healthy lifestyle more and more often and are looking for many healthier replacements for the product, which is often called white death. Fortunately, these days, it's not so hard to find.
White death

Stevia
It contains sterile glycosides in its leaves and stems, which are responsible for its sweet taste. It is 200-300 times sweeter than sugar, so a small amount is enough to feel the sweet taste of a drink or other product. One powdered teaspoon of stevia leaves is equivalent to a glass of white sugar. It is important that its caloric content is very low.
Xylitol
It is a sugar that is made from birch bark. It is as much as 40% less caloric than white sugar. It is perfect for diabetics because after taking it, a person does not suffer from sudden insulin spikes into the bloodstream. Its sweetness is very similar to that of regular sugar.

Honey
Unfortunately, this product has a very similar calorific value to the product with which we want to replace it. Importantly, its composition includes not only sweeteners, but also minimal amounts of nutritional values such as: B vitamins, proteins, tannins, waxes, volatile oils, pollen, etc. People who sweeten tea or coffee with honey must remember about the fact that honey doused with boiling water loses all its value, therefore it is recommended to sweeten it with honey when the water is below 40 degrees Celsius.
Fruits that can turn sugar
We can find many fruits on the market that will also allow us to replace sugar. Bananas, dried fruits such as raisins, apricots, figs, pineapple and various fruit juices are ideal products that will also sweeten our daily diet, and at the same time add a lot of nutritional value.
