The hundredth anniversary of Poland's independence is a unique event. On this occasion, there will be an official ceremony enriched with a concert by Fr. 19:00 at Kulturkirken Jakob. The entire Polish diplomatic team from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo will come, along with diplomats and consuls. Representatives of the Norwegian government will also appear to celebrate this special anniversary together with Poles.
Official concert for the 100th anniversary of Independence
The diplomatic corps and Norwegian partners will be guests during the concert. Representatives of the Polish community in Norway were invited. At the concert, you will be able to see the work of Capella Cracoviensis, which will come to Norway as part of the project "Go East! Go North! Polish Baroque Promo Tour ”in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Who will perform?
Chamber choir and orchestra will perform at the ceremony Capella Cracoviensis - one of the most interesting bands on the contemporary early music scene. He performs repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to early Romantic operas. What distinguishes the ensemble is the use of instruments from the eras appropriate for a given composition during their concerts. Old enforcement practices are also used. Capella Cracoviensis is a recognized ensemble, as evidenced by the fact that they are invited to the most important festivals and concert halls, including for the following: Bachfest Leipzig, SWR Festspiele Schwetzingen, Händel Festspiele Halle, Haydn Festspiele Brühl, Opéra Royal Versailles, Theater an der Wien, NOSPR Katowice, Philharmonic Szczecin, Misteria Paschalia Kraków. The band's guests were, among others: Evelino Pidó, Christophe Rousset, Alessandro Moccia, Giuliano Carmignola, Paul Goodwin, Andrew Parrott, and Paul McCreesh.
