Due to the upcoming weather breakdown, the Meteorological Institute in Norway has issued a yellow weather warning level. According to forecasters, the upcoming weekend will be a busy one strong wind and heavy rainfall – especially in western Norway. Therefore, the inhabitants of Bergen, still enjoying the highest temperature in the country on Thursday, will have to take out umbrellas and equip themselves with warm jackets.

It will be the most windy in the mountains
As YR.no informs on its Twitter, the strongest winds should be expected around Bergen and Førde. Not only the western fringes of the country will be hit by strong winds. Inhabitants of the southern part of Norway, especially those living in the higher parts of the mountains, should also expect strong gusts of wind. However, do not panic - it will only blow in places and in a short time.
Not windy, but wet
It will rain most in places where it will also be very windy. Residents of the mentioned Bergen and Førde should equip themselves with rain jackets and umbrellas - there will be 140-160 mm of rain in 48 hours. The most intense rainfall can be expected by people living in Fensfjorden Bay - weather forecasters forecast that there will be more than 180 mm of rain in 48 hours.
