Weekend in Norway

Each of us dreams of a romantic weekend for two. Finding a place where you can hide and spend a few nice moments with your partner is a real art. We know such places in Norway.

We know for a long time that every person has different preferences. Some of us prefer to spend a weekend in nature, catching and watching the Northern Lights, while others prefer luxury in the hustle and bustle of the city. It does not matter what our preferences are, it is important that Norway hides so many beautiful places that it can please the most demanding people. Below we present a few examples of hotels where staying is a real fairy tale, especially for two.

Juvet Landscape

The Juvet Landscape Hotel is a hotel that definitely stands out from the others and a chance for a special weekend in Norway. Why? First of all, the guests of this place will not pay so much attention to its interior. But what it hides outside. Beautiful and large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wonderful view of the snowy mountain peaks, lush greenery and the view of the icy, rushing river.

Certainly the morning and waking up with such a view is something unforgettable. Of course, the mere fact of such beautiful views does not prevent the hotel owner from thinking about its beautiful interior. Guests can experience contemporary architecture and spend a few days in rooms that are each a cube placed on wooden logs. The purpose of this structure is to interfere with nature as little as possible. A double room with breakfast for two people is 3500 NOK.

Pure luxury

Not everyone likes the countryside and not everyone is looking for a rest among nature. If we are hungry for luxury, then the perfect solution for such a stay is a hotel located in the capital of Norway, The Thief. It was built in 2013 and started creating the Oslo hotel scene from the very beginning. The beautiful, black, gold and copper lobby that introduces us to the interior of this place speaks for itself. There is no other hotel like this in Oslo. In addition to the beautiful interior, which is arranged in a multitude of wonderful and expensive art, guests get free admission to the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Contemporary Art. We have a choice of 113 rooms with prices for one night starting from NOK 3000.

Weekend in Norway. For dog lovers

If we are lovers of man's best friends, this place and staying in it is the best solution for us for a weekend in Norway. The hotel called Husky Lodge is situated in a beautiful place, and a few kilometers from Alta we will meet there a group of as many as 80 wonderful husky dogs. These beautiful creatures live in their element and will gladly take us on a sleigh ride through the phenomenal terrain of Finnmark. After such a ride, we can return to the hotel, curl up in a warm blanket and wait for the appearance of the northern lights in a special room. In addition, guests can use the whirlpool, which is completely open. A night in a double room at Husky Lodge starts at NOK 1250.
