From the end of October, it will not be necessary to confirm dates for pregnant women who are employed on the basis of an employment contract. From January 1, 2019, new rules for calculating the amount of parental benefit will also apply. The basis will be the last three months preceding the first day of absence from work. This applies to both persons permanently employed by one employer, and those earning income from various sources.

If your employment relationship is shorter than 3 months, NAV benefit amount will calculate based on actual time worked. In this case, he will take into account one month's salary. However, if during the conversion period the employee had breaks at work or was on holiday leave. When calculating the amount of the benefit, NAV will take into account the remuneration that the Beneficiary would receive without interruption.

– Parental leave for freelancers

Rules for calculating the amount of parental benefit for freelancers. They will be the same as in the case of people employed under a contract of employment. The conversion period is the last three months worked. However, if the income at that time was not regular, then this period is shortened to one month.
