After the performance - theater classes

After the performance, theater workshops for the youngest will be conducted. Under the watchful eye of Janusz Dziewiątkowski, children learn the secrets of the actor's work, while having fun at the same time. Thanks to this form of conducting classes, there is a great chance to interest the youngest in art, which will significantly enrich their inner life both now and in the future.

A few words from the organizers ...

Janusz Dziewiątkowski: “Developing imagination, creative thinking and motor awareness are extremely important elements of education, and theater, its magic and the combination of all artistic disciplines into one whole provide excellent tools for this. I would like our cyclical meetings under the slogan "Theater is in us" not to be lectures on theater knowledge, but a simple, children's game of theater, the culmination of which would be a performance or a theatrical performance. The workshops are aimed at children from 7 to 14 years of age, but age is not the decisive criterion for inclusion in the group. The regularity and commitment of the child counts. Also a parent or guardian.

What are we going to do in the first class? First of all, they got to know each other and set goals ... We will tell what theater is, what it is for, what the art of imagination gives us and how it can be realized with simple means. We will discover the possibilities of our language and try to bring objects to life. Because as you know - everything is possible in the theater. Remember that! A few well-known poems by Jan Brzechwa and Julian Tuwim in the interpretation of Karolina, Janusz and Daniel are a good start of the workshop, i.e. a mini performance for everyone - big and small!

The main goals of the theater workshops are:

  • expanding knowledge about theatrical life,
  • working on the culture of the living word,
  • work on the emission of vowels and consonants,
  • working with various cultural texts,
  • discovering your own creative possibilities,
  • shaping imagination and fantasy,
  • developing creative expression and movement awareness,
  • acquiring the ability to express and verbalize feelings.

If we manage to attract children so that their theater becomes a counterbalance to cheap commercialism, we will achieve great success. At the same time, we will allow children to see the world for themselves through the eyes of their imaginations. "
