The Norwegian, small commune of Tokke has recently had a lot to be proud of. A few days ago, a certain facility was opened there, which arouses admiration, curiosity and delight not only the inhabitants of the town, but also many tourists. Sauna has become an Instagram hit!
The pride of the commune
The facility that arouses so much curiosity among the inhabitants, but also many tourists, is the sauna. Even before it was opened to visitors, a lot of people came to Tokke to take just a photo of her and put it on various social media profiles. The sauna is a spectacular building located in the Telemark canal. Mayor Jerand Felland believes the facility will attract large numbers of people and become Tokke's pride.

Sauna and its grand opening
This week the facility was officially opened. As many as 200 people gathered in the place where a beautiful and modern sauna was erected, i.e. at Bankdak Lake. Among the guests there was also the well-known Eilev Erikstein, who announced that the place would be often used by him for his work, “I think that this is a great place, especially in the evening it gains an atmosphere. I think it will be nice to gather people here and talk to them. Plus, I think this one the sauna will often be used as such a small place for meditation. Mountains, water and light make a strong impression and make people exceptionally calm here. " The facility can be used completely free of charge.
An ideal place for tourists
The location of the sauna by the lake is an ideal place for tourists. The lake is part of the Telemark canal, which is visited by thousands of tourists every year. Many visitors come to these areas mainly to sail or visit the famous Hotel Dalen. It is located not far from the sauna. The hotel staff at Hotel Leader Thor Halvorsen has already tried it out and they are delighted.
Magnet for guests
Even though the area where the facility was built does not complain about the lack of tourists, the project manager is Pål Klaffelgårdbelieves that it will increase the attractiveness of the area even more.
